Information Security and Quality certifications

Petrolink is pleased to state that the following locations have achieved certifications through ISO 9001 and ISO 27001 International Standards by accredited certification bodies.

ISO 9001 and ISO 27001 are both international standards that help organizations improve operations. ISO 9001 focuses on quality management systems (QMS), while ISO 27001 focuses on information security management systems (ISMS). ISO 9001 helps to meet or exceed customer expectations, while ISO 27001 ensures the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of essential customer information.

Memberships

Petrolink is an active member and leader in a number of industry organizations and associations including:

Energistics

Petrolink has long been a member and served on the Board of Directors of Energistics. This organization of operators, service companies, technology companies and regulating agencies provides the data transfer standards that support the interconnection of all the actors from the well planning to the field production phases of an asset. Standardized data supports a faster and more reliable flow of knowledge and information, while ensuring superior levels of trust and accuracy.

A recognized leader in WITSML and ETP, Petrolink brings over 10 years of expertise in writing the standard and delivering key WITSML technologies and advancements.

Open Group Open Subsurface Data Standards (OSDU)

The Open Group is a global consortium that enables the achievement of business objectives through technology standards. Its diverse membership of more than 740 organizations includes customers, systems and solutions suppliers, tool vendors, integrators, academics, and consultants across multiple industries. The Forums of The Open Group aim to drive the creation of technologies that further collaborative innovation.

We identify the OSDU Forum initiative as a key step in the journey towards true collaboration across the industry. While the Energistics standards (WITSML, RESQML, and ETP) have successfully combated vendor lock-in, the OSDU Forum offers the potential to improve the adoption of standards. By providing software implementations of several carefully selected standards, the OSDU Forum will, in turn, reduce deployment delays for operators.

Society for Petroleum Engineers

Petrolink has maintained membership in the SPE, leading technical sections like the Drilling Uncertainty Prediction Technology Section for many years. We volunteer our time, contribute to the association’s body of knowledge through development of technical papers and serve as presenters at conferences and events.
